Terms and Conditions

Below is a compressed and more legible version of our Terms and Conditions for your convenience. Download here the full Terms and Conditions document.

Overview

These Terms and Conditions apply to all bookings made with The Hummingbee. By confirming your reservation, you agree to the terms outlined below. Your booking becomes binding once your deposit has been received and a confirmation email has been issued.

The Hummingbee organizes prenatal yoga retreats in France, including accommodation, meals, and guided activities as described in the retreat programme.

Retreat Services

Each retreat includes accommodation, meals, and a curated programme of activities such as prenatal yoga, workshops, and wellness sessions. Access to on-site facilities and group airport transfers at specified times may also be included, depending on the programme.

Unless explicitly stated, flights, personal expenses, insurance, and optional extras are not included. Retreats are held in small groups and conducted in English. Some services may be delivered by trusted third-party providers.

Booking and Payment

To reserve your place, a deposit of 50% of the total retreat price is required. Your booking is only confirmed once this payment has been received.

The remaining balance must be paid no later than 28 days before the retreat start date. If the balance is not received on time, The Hummingbee reserves the right to cancel the booking.

All prices are listed in euros and include applicable taxes. Payments are processed securely via a third-party provider.

Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel your participation, the following conditions apply.

  • More than 6 weeks before the retreat start date, you will receive a full refund minus a 10% administrative fee.

  • Between 6 and 4 weeks before the retreat, you will receive a 50% refund.

  • Less than 4 weeks before the retreat, no refund will be issued.

Cancellations must be submitted in writing via email and take effect from the date of receipt.

In case of medical emergencies or pregnancy-related complications, a full refund will be provided upon presentation of appropriate documentation confirming that participation is not possible.

If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your booking to another participant, provided they meet the retreat requirements and you notify us at least 7 days before the retreat.

Failure to pay the remaining balance on time will be treated as a cancellation and the deposit will be retained.

Cancellation by The Hummingbee

The Hummingbee reserves the right to cancel a retreat if the minimum number of participants is not reached or in the event of exceptional circumstances beyond our control, such as travel restrictions, safety concerns, or venue issues.

In such cases, all payments made will be fully refunded. No additional compensation will be provided.

Changes to the Retreat

Minor changes to the schedule, activities, or service providers may occur due to weather, safety, or organisational reasons.

If a significant change is required before the retreat, such as a change of dates or location, you will be informed promptly and may choose to accept the change or receive a full refund.

Health and Participation

Our retreats are designed specifically for pregnant women and approved companions. By booking, you confirm that you are physically able to participate and that you will follow all guidance provided during the retreat.

You are responsible for informing us in advance of any relevant health conditions, dietary requirements, or specific needs that may affect your participation.

The activities offered are for wellbeing purposes only and do not replace medical care. You should consult your healthcare provider if you have any concerns.

Insurance and Responsibility

The Hummingbee holds professional liability insurance as a retreat organiser.

Participants are strongly advised to arrange their own travel, health, and cancellation insurance. The Hummingbee cannot be held responsible for personal loss, travel disruptions, or circumstances outside of its control.

Conduct and Safety

Participants are expected to respect the retreat environment, other guests, and facilitators, and to follow all safety instructions.

If a participant’s behaviour compromises safety, The Hummingbee reserves the right to limit participation in certain activities to ensure the wellbeing of the group.
